Company management and all employees are obliged to act in accordance with the following:

  • Initiate activities to prevent safety hazards to the customer, employees and the environment is a top priority.
  • Growers will not use their GGN number other than to post its registration on packaging and shipping documents indicating the standard requirements status (i.e., no use in detriment of the grower).
  • Guidelines for growers regarding methods of processing, handling, packaging and transport verified and documented based on planning, monitoring, strict control, and through implementation of the marking and identification system which allows tracking from the field through to customer delivery.
  • The implementation of “risk analysis and determination of critical control points” is used for the prevention and control of safety risks associated with field production, sorting, packing, shipping and marketing, including risks of sabotage.
  • Use pesticides and disinfectants compliant with Israeli rules and client country rules and regulations and within buyers’ requirements without compromise related to the level of pesticide residues and post-harvest treatment.
  • Exploitation of new technologies for monitoring pests and integrated biological control measures.
  • Use of calculated, thoughtful and responsible pesticides, approved and authorized for use, based on field tests, in order to reduce usage, reduce costs, and prevent environmental damage, according to the international GLOBALG.A.P standard, the State of Israel and all customer requirements.
  • Committed to take all reasonable measures to protect employees and others, , animals and plants, in order to prevent damage to the environment which may be caused by use of chemicals and fertilizers.
  • Guide and encourage employees and contractors in order to create and increase awareness with regards to environmental implications of their activities on soil air and water quality, and pollution prevention in general.
  • Protect the rights, safety and welfare of workers by laws and regulations required by the State of Israel and in terms of commitment to fair employment.
  • Implement proactive measures to encourage the natural flora and fauna in the area and surroundings, preserve nature and the environment, recycle materials and properly separate and dispose controlled waste.
  • Initiate actions to identify and optimize energy consumption and reduce greenhouse gas emissions based on the “carbon footprint” index (Carbon Footprint).
  • Ensure the “organic” agricultural standard according to all the procedures applicable in Israel.
